In December, we started our Project Lead the Way unit in 4th grade. Students will learn about energy, specifically what happens to energy in collisions. Our end goal is to keep an egg safe in a vehicle during a collision by designing a restraint system.
Over the past few weeks students built pendulums to explore potential energy and kinetic energy. They also built ramps to test and analyze the relationship between potential energy, speed, and distance.
Check back to see our final restraint models and the results of our final test!
